Terms of Service

Last updated: May 6, 2026

1. Acceptance

By downloading, installing, or using VisionLink, you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the app or services.

2. Not a medical diagnosis

VisionLink provides AI-assisted screening to help identify potential eye conditions. It is not a replacement for a clinical examination or formal diagnosis. All flagged screenings should be reviewed by a certified ophthalmologist. In emergencies, seek immediate medical care.

3. Eligible users

  • Community Health Volunteers (CHVs) trained on the screening workflow.
  • Licensed ophthalmologists and clinicians using the doctor portal.
  • Partner facilities receiving referrals.

4. Patient consent

You must obtain informed consent from every patient before capturing screening images or recording personal information.

5. Acceptable use

  • Do not upload images or data unrelated to eye screening.
  • Do not share account credentials.
  • Do not attempt to reverse-engineer or disrupt the service.

6. Data and privacy

Use of VisionLink is also governed by our Privacy Policy.

7. Service availability

VisionLink works offline for screening capture and AI analysis. Doctor review and referral routing require connectivity and may be delayed during outages or maintenance.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, VisionLink and its partners are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service. Clinical decisions remain the responsibility of the treating clinician.

9. Changes

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
